Let’s get real. I could never deny anything coated in buffalo sauce! So when I came across these buffalo tofu bites I had to give them a try. While I do eat meat I am always open to trying new ways to get in some protein. It is always great to options in my opinion. Where to eat in Boston?

Have you ever been to Boston? Until recently I hadn’t, but it certainly won’t be my last time! I had the chance to go to this beautiful city for a conference and decided to extend my stay for a couple of days so my mom and sister could join me for a mini-girls getaway. We try to do this at least once a year – but this year we happen to squeeze in two trips! (Check out highlights from our Quebec City weekend here).

One of the top priorities on our trips is finding amazing local cuisine, and of course wine to go with it. I had know doubt that we would come across great food in Boston, as I had a ton of recommendations. I was most excited for all of the seafood. Below I’ll break down all of our favourites including one restaurant that had a two and a half hour wait (but was totally worth it!).

Meatless Dinner Options: Pesto Pasta Salad

Since attending a vegan cooking class at Loblaws, I’ve been more open to creating meatless options to incorporate into one or two meals a week. Like this pesto pasta salad for example! The concept of meatless meals is becoming more and popular. It doesn’t mean you are committing to a vegan or vegetarian diet but just being more conscious about consuming less meat throughout the week.

But hey, if you are totally against the idea of going meatless – there is no reason why you can’t add some to this dish. In fact, I’ve made it both ways. Or if you are just looking to add protein, you can try adding some kidney beans or chick peas. That way you get the best of both worlds: meatless + protein packed.
