Shishito Peppers on the Grill

I think I may of found my favorite snack of the summer. Shishito peppers! They are quickly becoming the new cauliflower – making there way onto menus all over restaurants in Toronto. I made them for the first time this weekend for a girls getaway up north. Food is always a major priority for our girls weekends (as it should be). Usually our menu combines our go-to favorites (aka cheese ball) and trying out new recipes. Bean Medley Salad

As I said on Instagram, 4 words to describe this recipe: easy, peasy, lemon squeazy! This is by far one of my favorite go to salads to make. It is perfect for lunch or to serve with dinner as a side. I love the flavors and the beans pack all the protein you need. It only requires 4 key ingredients BUT you can definitely add other ingredients to mix it up. Spring rolls are my go to whenever I am ordering Chinese food. I love those crispy little morsels! But whenever I thought about making them at home I didn’t have a deep fryer nor did I want to waste a ton of oil in a makeshift deep fryer. 3 Recipes to Make with Spaghetti Squash

Spaghetti squash is the bomb diggity if you haven’t heard! It’s the perfect ingredient if you are craving pasta but looking for a lighter meal. While the cooking time may be a little daunting, it is a fairly low maintenance veggie to make. It literally does the work for you! After baking for about 40 minutes you just lightly scrape the insides with a fork and voila, spaghetti.
